So, i work in the gun industry and recieved this letter from a colleague from Warne Scope Mounts in Oregon. It is regarding their corporate account with The Home Depot, issued through Citibank. i hope you can read the attachment, it is pretty small.
I'd say it was more a Citibank issue they are the money behind the card!
I'd tell them to go pound sand.

lars larson, 750 AM radio, in Portland, did a broadcast today about this subject. it was determined that it is Citibank's policy to not do business with firearms related companies. how much bailout money did they receive? i find it funny that my buddy in the army now carries an issued Citibank card...obamacard?
Didn't realize that was behind my home depot card... and damn if I didn't find an old citi card as a backup too.... cancelling both.... hell I need a good card that gets me miles for AK trips... maybe time to look into an Alaska Air card....

I smell a skunk. I carry no brief for Citi and have no desire, time, or inclination to research it, so if you don't like them flush your Citi card and get a Cabelas card. Whatever card(s) you carry be sure to zero them out every month.
Personally I would never trust a company that can't even spell a simple word like "city".

i know. but the site only allows 97kb for a file. it was 668kb and i had to downsize it. i am sure Warne Scope Mounts would be happy to email you a copy at higher res. maybe 24hour camp fire should allow pdf's to be uploaded.
I've done business with CITI for a long time now. I have both a Sears card and an AT&T. I had one small problem several years back, other than that, no complaints. I have no plans to cancel either.

It's a line-art file: make a GIF out of it, not a JPG. JPG is for photos. GIF ought to be able to produce a perfectly readable version in 40-50KB.

It's true. I (bufaf) emailed Warne to ask if it was and here's the response:
Yes, it is true. The letter posted on the forum is the official letter we received from Home Depot Credit Services. The owner of our company, Charlie Lake, was on the Lars Larson National Radio show yesterday afternoon regarding this issue. We have contacted many of our colleagues in the industry and have let them know of the situation� we are assuming that is how it was posted on the forum.
Citi's self defense policy probably states that: when feeling in danger for your life or being robbed just simply comply or start slapping perpetraitor frantically and say "Get away from me you silly bad guy/girl"

I can't speak for Citi Bank, however I do know that Home Depot offers a 10% discount to anybody carrying a military ID. That support gets them my business.
Home Depot supports the military, same as Lowes and last time I checked, a lot of the military were carrying guns. Now Citibank, that's another matter all together. I will never do business with them nor have on of their cc's. They can go pound sand.
