How reliable is Yahoo Finance? - Investment trusts - Forums (2024)

Hi there,

I have been extracting some trust data from good old Yahoo Finance to do some experiments. I appreciate that its free and naturally is not as reliable as premium data providers.

On a whole I have found data for FTSE 100 to be OK, but for trusts I have a problem.

Yahoo occasionally reports incorrect open, high, low, close for some days. These days have zero volume, How bizarre.

So from above last 3 days data seems to have gone AWOL.

I have checked their own chart too to confirm that the problem is not my side.
