Need a COVID-19 vaccine? Here's where you can go in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties to get the shot.

Starting April 5, all Florida residents 18 and older are eligible for the COVID vaccine. Residents who are 16 and 17 can receive thePfizer vaccine, the only vaccine that is currently authorized for those under the age of 18.

Ascension Sacred Heart

Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart is offering vaccination clinics at Olive Baptist Church,1836 E. Olive Road, Pensacola, on the following days:.

• April 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• April 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• April 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Escambia: Escambia County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 16% people fully vaccinated

Santa Rosa: Santa Rosa County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 16% people fully vaccinated

Appointments are required and can be made at getsacredheartcare.com. The clinics will offer either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, which require two shots about three to four weeks apart.

Baptist Health Care

Baptist Health Care is offering appointments at:

Vaccinations will be given by appointment only. No walk-ins will be available.

Community Health Northwest Florida

Community Health Northwest Florida is holding several COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week.

Appointments are required unless otherwise noted. Call the Community Health COVID-19 Vaccine Call Center at 850-439-3358 to schedule an appointment.

Community Health canceled the Johnson & Johnson vaccination clinic previously scheduled for April 14 per Tuesday's recommendation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

This cancellation only affects the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The county's vaccination station at Parkmore Plaza remains operational with Moderna vaccines as scheduled Tuesday through Saturday.

The April 16 clininc has been rescheduled to offer the first dose of the Modern vaccine, rather than the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

HEre are the scheduled clinincs:

April 15

• 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Pensacola State College, Warrington Campus, Student Services Building 3600, 5555 W. U.S. 98
• First dose of Moderna vaccine
• This clinic is open all Florida residents (or Alabama residents who work or attend school in Florida) who qualify to receive the vaccine

April 16

• 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto St., Pensacola
• First dose of Moderna vaccine

All participants will be required to show photo ID at time of appointment. Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days or have had symptoms of illness (fever, cough, shortness of breath) in the past 14 days should not receive the vaccine.

Hillcrest Baptist Church clinic

Adults 18 and older can walk in without a vaccination appointment to receive their first dose of the Moderna vaccine from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 12 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 800 E. Nine Mile Road in Pensacola.

Follow-up doses will be administered May 10.

Must be a Florida resident and present a photo ID on arrival.

After vaccination, be prepared to wait for up to 30 minutes before leaving the facility, so medical professionals may monitor you for any possible reactions to the vaccine.

Florida DOH in Escambia County

The Florida Department of Health in Escambia County is receiving 8,500 doses of the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine for the week of April 12 andis offering same-day clinic appointments and one off-site clinic for Florida residents 18 and older:

April 12 to 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at FDOH-Escambia, 1295 W. Fairfield Drive, Pensacola. Same-day appointments may be available by calling 850-595-6554.

April 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto St., Pensacola. Walk-ins will be accepted between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. This is for thefirst dose of the Moderna vaccine.

April 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at FDOH-Escambia, 1295 W. Fairfield Drive, Pensacola. Walk-ins welcome, no appointment needed. This is for the first dose of the Moderna vaccine. Vaccine recipients will be expected to return for their second dose May 15.

Residents can use the statewide preregistration system at myvaccine.fl.gov to get in line for appointments as new schedules are opened. They may also call 850-595-6554 to be scheduled into any remaining available appointments, including same-day appointments at FDOH-Escambia. Florida DOH in Santa Rosa County

The Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County will be administering Moderna COVID vaccinations at the county's vaccination station inside the former Bealls department store at 6209 U.S. 90 in Milton.

April 12 to 16

• Walk-ins and appointments available from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

April 17

• Walk-ins from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All Floridians age 18 and older are eligible for the vaccine. Those age 16 and older are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine. Currently, the Santa Rosa County Department of Health is only administering the Moderna vaccine.

Residents who have received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine can (after 28 days) utilize the walk-in clinic to receive their second dose.

West Florida Hospital

West Florida Hospital's next first dose vaccine clinic is scheduled for April 15. Appointments must be scheduled via this link. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

The clinic is for the first dose of the Moderna vaccine. Recipients will need to return for their second dose May 14.

CVS

Register at CVS.com or through the CVS Pharmacy app. Those without online access can contact CVS customer service at 800-746-7287. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Publix

Publix is posting appointment dates through its online reservation system at publix.com/covid-vaccine/florida. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Walmart and Sam's Club

Once a store or club receives allocation, the online scheduler will be available to make appointments at walmart.com/COVIDvaccine and samsclub.com/covid.

Walgreens
