Following a long delay, the action thriller series The Old Man returns on September 13 for its second season. Jeff Bridges stars in the show as Dan Chase, a former CIA agent who has to come out of hiding when he is targeted by his old associates. Season 1 found Dan on the run from his former friend and fellow spy Harper (John Lithgow), with Angela (Alia Shawkat), a surrogate daughter of both men, stuck in the middle.

The second season of the show promises the exciting development of Dan and Harper teaming up when Angela is taken by her real father, a dangerous terrorist. While the first season was a fun and thrilling ride, the idea of seeing Bridges and Lithgow working together more directly is a lot more exciting.
