Thrilled to reminisce about my journey to the WuTa-You Science Camp in Taiwan during August 2023, with the theme "The Booming Astronomy and Space Exploration." I shared this exciting trip with my seniors, Ngai Wan Qi and Mao Jie Wee.The camp was a vibrant blend of knowledge sharing from experts in Taiwan, hands-on activities, and cultural immersion, providing an unforgettable experience for attendees. Engaging lectures and workshops deepened our understanding of cutting-edge research and technology in astronomy and space exploration, not only in Taiwan, but around the globe. As I reflect on my time at the WuTa-You Science Camp, I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the camp. The knowledge gained and connections made have left an indelible mark on my journey in astronomy and space exploration. Here's to the continued exploration of the cosmos and the endless possibilities it holds!

Revisiting myself two year back when I was exploring space technologies and theoretical astronomy.I participated in this year long olympiad, ISSO, Indian Space Science Olympiad conducted by Edumithra Event Mangement.I learnt many concepts regarding astronomy. Out of which, the black hole theory, Quasars and stellar formation are some things which intrigued me the most. Finally after a lot of research work and 3 long rounds over the span of an year I managed to secure AIR 12 rank.☺️✌️ trying to achieve more and pursue my current interest computer science in harmony with astronomy. #isso #space #astronomy #olympiad #rockets #science #nebula

🎆 Hanindyo Kuncarayakti, a Docent and Research Council of Finland Fellow at the Turun yliopisto - University of Turku and his colleagues in Finland and Japan are studying the death events of stars, known as supernovae. The collaboration itself has already existed for the past several years, where they've conducted research on various time-domain astronomy and supernova-related topics, combining observational data analysis and theoretical calculations.❄ Dr. Kuncarayakti's project uses LUMI to simulate the supernova explosion and interaction, which requires significant computational power. This is the 4th blog in series that represents collaboration projects between Finland-Japan and Finland-Colorado that use LUMI supercomputer to address global challenges and top-level research topics in different fields.👉 https://lnkd.in/gZ6a_2_nKyoto University | The University of Tokyo | National Astronomical Observatory of Japan #supernova #astronomy #HPC #LUMIsupercomputer
